Dear Friends and Family of the Preborn Child,
Several months ago in these pages when they were recalling Trump a “Hitler” we responded by saying, “President Trump is a peacemaker. Hitler was not a peacemaker.”
There is a true story people tell about Henry Ford. It seems that Henry Ford wanted ‘unbreakable glass’ for his model T’s. He said he did not give the problem to the glassmakers of the day. He knew what they would tell him – “It’s impossible.” Mr. Ford said that instead, he gave the problem to a couple recent college graduates. Henry Ford got his unbreakable glass!
All the politicians (and many of our presidents) in the past have tried to achieve peace throughout the Middle East. For the politicians and the diplomats, it has been impossible, but here comes a businessman (not a politician; not a diplomat). He knocks the pieces off the chessboard and rearranges them in a manner that he thinks will work. The Mid-East got its peace!!!
And he mentioned “God” in his address to the Knesset, and again in his address in Egypt. After the failed attempt on his life, the President told someone, “I believe God saved me for a purpose.” God is at work in the Middle East, and like the story of Henry Ford, he used a most unlikely man to do it; a “businessman” who is adept at “the art of the deal”. Think about it. His entire life has prepared him, not to make billions building skyscrapers, but to be a peacemaker.
“Blessed are the Peacemakers” (Matthew 5:9)
God’s vision for the Mid-East (at least for now) is one of peace and prosperity. The Bible tells us how it will all end (Armageddon), but Scripture also tells us that God Himself controls the end time. A thousand years to us is like a minute to God. Could it be that we are to be given at least 100 years of peace? We all could use it! Now let’s see what this businessman can do with Ukraine and Russia, and get China and North Korea to concentrate on peace and prosperity in their own countries rather than the alternative of war.
Let us pray.
