God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He never changes. His Laws and His Commandments never change.
Our nation’s own Supreme Court defied God in 1973 and taught the woman it was okay to ignore God’s Commandment Thou Shalt Not Kill, and kill the preborn child within her – her closest neighbor. (Love your neighbor as yourself – Lev. 19:18, Mk 12:31)
The death of the innocents came upon us – 60 million preborn children, and with their death came the loss of respect for the sanctity of human life. Children whose own mother had killed their brother or sister before that child was born because it was unwanted or inconvenient, acted out in a fatal way by hopping on cafeteria tables with guns and killing, at random, fellow students. And in the city streets they killed those disliked or inconvenient to them.
The current Supreme Court has sought to reverse the egregious error of their predecessors. They struck down Roe and told the states it is up to them what they do or not do to protect the lives of preborn children. We need one state to lead the way for the others back to respect for God’s Commandment Thou Shalt Not Kill. Most any state is able to do this simply by reinstituting the law that was on their books prior to 1973.
In doing so they are drawing upon the wisdom of their legislature which reflected the respect of their parents and grandparents for God’s Commandment Thou Shalt Not Kill.
Modern science has confirmed the truth that was in the hearts of our forefathers – that human life begins, like everything else, at the beginning.
For a state to do this is not legislating a new law. It is simply putting back in place the old law of their state that the Supreme Court struck down. Once the Supreme Court removes its hand, the old law should be automatically reactivated.
In recent years the devilish mischief of what the world dean of geneticists, Dr. Jerome Lejeune of Paris, France, called the “world’s first human pesticide” (RU 486 – “the morning after pill” has reared its Frankenstein head.
If it continues to be available over the internet to young girls and women of all ages, for whom it may be fatal, it is estimated that it will kill more preborn children by chemical abortion than surgical abortion ever did.
This needs to be addressed at the federal level. Congress needs to outlaw RU-486 in the nation and forbid its shipment in interstate commerce.
Such a law, passed by the Congress, will polish the lens of our light on a hill for all the world to see that is otherwise becoming smokey, dimming its light.
The sanctity of human life is not something to debate. It is something to revere and respect! The devil wants it debated since in a debate he may able to keep God fearing men and women out of public office by falsely casting them as someone who would take away women’s “liberties” which are now valued in the American conscience more than life – hence, the devilish phrase “pro-choice”.
The God fearing, pro-life political candidate, should stay away from the debate of what he thinks is right or wrong. He should simply state the truth that all states prior to Roe v. Wade made it a crime for a doctor to perform an abortion.
Most states had an exception for rape, incest and life or health of the mother – he may personally feel that even those exceptions are wrong but he is simply pointing out the prior state law – not his personal beliefs. He then would go on to truthfully state that the Supreme Court has left it up to the states whether or not to reinstitute laws on their books prior to Roe (1973).
RU-486 is a matter for the Congress. As long as it is available over the internet, it is beneath state radar.
Pray for our nation. Pray for its light on a hill that President Ronald Reagan spoke of. Pray for our next president! And may God’s will be done!
Yours very sincerely and respectfully,
R. Martin Palmer
