Dear friends and family of the preborn child,
THE COMMANDMENT IS: “THOU SHALT NOT KILL.” How is it possible that both houses of the New York legislature have passed this evil edict defying God’s Commandment not to kill our fellow human beings (The preborn child is fully human and an equal member of the community of Man). This New York evil execution edict allows for the execution by dismemberment of preborn children up to the moment of birth. Indeed, if a baby survives abortion, she’s to be left to die.
The culture of death, who somehow have a stranglehold on the New York legislature, pushed this through on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade for obvious reasons and Governor Cuomo ordered that the Freedom Tower be lit up with pink light to celebrate what they were doing for women (forgetting pre-born women in the temple of the womb).
This evil execution edict provides that non-doctors will be allowed to perform abortions in New York. (Planned Parenthood is finding it increasingly hard to get doctors who are willing to perform abortions).
The culture of death means this as their piece of model legislation that they are wanting other states in the Union to copycat. Surely this cannot be the will of the majority of the citizens of the great state of New York.
This needs to be tested immediately with a REFERENDUM in which the people of the great state of New York vote to strike this bill down.
Albert Schweitzer said it:
“If a man loses reverence for any part of life, he will lose his reverence for all life.”
Life Begins, like everything else, at the beginning. God gave the Commandment “Thou shalt not kill”. In His Holy Word, referring to the abominable practice of child sacrifice, God said that He had never even thought of such a thing!!!
Pink is a shade off of red. The Freedom Tower should have been lit up in red lights to mark the shed blood of innocent pre-born children. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom… 2 Cor. 3:17” The Spirit of the Lord is not in this and the “Freedom Tower” has no place as a symbol of such an abomination.
A recent national poll disclosed that 60% of those individuals who favor abortion are opposed to it after the first trimester. A pro-life New York legislator being interviewed this past week said that 75% of New Yorkers are opposed to this radical piece of legislation.
President Trump may soon get another appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court. The culture of death fears that Roe v. Wade may be overturned. The talk is that the Supreme Court would send the decision on abortion back to the respective states. Hence the press to establish an “inherent right to abortion” by legislation and constitutional amendment in the respective states. They are trying to make ‘hay while the sun shines’ but the darkness of night has fallen over the state of New York – dark as a pit from pole to pole.
If a court is to be respected, it must stand for justice. The righteousness of the cause of preborn children demands that they receive FULL JUSTICE! Some 45 years after Roe, when real time ultrasound has put windows on the womb, we watch little Mary Doe turn somersaults in utero, full of gaiety and grace, and suck her thumb like an infant in a crib. The Supreme Court needs to gird up its loins, stand for true justice and proclaim the unalienable right to life of all Americans from conception until natural death.
As we know, the Declaration of Independence provides in pertinent part:
“WE hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights and among these are LIFE, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness…”
From this we get the name of the Right to Life movement.
The Declaration of Independence was the promise, the Constitution was the beginning of the fulfillment.
The culture of death has shown its colors in New York (blood red) for the Supreme Court and all to see.
They have gone to one extreme – death no matter what. Prayerfully, this will inspire the court to go to the other extreme – LIFE NO MATTER WHAT! For that we must pray.
A referendum is needed in New York to strike this abominable legislation down. With the prayers of the people and God’s help, the sixth Commandment will again be respected in New York State and throughout the nation!
Yours very sincerely and respectfully,
R. Martin Palmer
P.S. If the Supreme Court does what they must do in order to be respected, we will have true freedom for all Americans from the moment of conception until natural death. True freedom in the “land of the brave and the home of the free.” “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom… 2 Cor. 3:17”
